Our First Haircut

A few Fridays ago (November 30), we took the boys to get their first haircut. As odd as it may sound, it was Carson that made me go ahead and decide to do it. Yes, Hayden has had long hair for a while, but it is so curly that I thought it was cute and couldn't stand the thought of cutting it and losing the curls. Carson's, however, is so straight that it had gotten to the point that he looked like he had a combover. Anyway, it was a pretty good experience. Carson was a "big boy" and sat in the chair for the lady to cut his hair. Hayden, on the other hand, had to sit in my lap, but was really good anyway. Here are some pictures from the first haircut. It turns out that it was okay to cut Hayden's hair - no curls lost - this time. In fact, it was kind of hard to even tell he had a haircut at first. They looked like such big boys!

Like I said earlier, Carson did very well. He looked like such a big boy sitting in the chair.

Hayden wasn't quite as happy about the whole situation. He looked so pitiful in the first picture - I had to share. However, he did much better sitting in my lap.
