One Year Check-up

We had our 12 month check-up yesterday. Everything is going great. The boys did have to get shots, but they only cried for just a few seconds and then they were fine. They actually did better than I did.

Anyway, here are the stats:

Hayden - 21 pounds, 8 ounces, 29.5 inches long
Carson - 19 pounds, 12 ounces, 29.25 inches long

We are not confident that the length measurements are correct because the paper was all messed up at the doctor's office and the boys were both squirmy. We think that Hayden is a little more than a quarter of an inch taller than Carson, but I guess it really doesn't matter :).

For those of you who don't know, both boys are walking now. In fact, Carson looks like he is trying to run (oh no!). They are jabbering all of the time and love to act like they are talking on the phone. They have also gotten very cuddly - with stuffed animals or soft blankets. They love to lay their head on anything soft - it is so cute. I have stopped worrying AS much about food, so they are starting to really eat off the table now. They still probably don't get what a lot of babies their age get, but I think we are doing just fine.
