Do We Have Boys, Girls, or Both???

I went to the doctor a little over a week ago for my monthly checkup. Everything still seems to be going well. I got to hear someone's heart beat, but I am not sure I heard both. The nurse said that it was still hard to tell them apart at this stage and quit listening after hearing one (or what I thought was one). I was not really happy with that, but I didn't really know what I could do about it. The doctor measured me and said that I measured at about 18 weeks (I was actually 14 weeks at the time). But, it is expected that I would be bigger with twins. So, with that, I know that they are still growing. Also, I can feel them stretching me, which is also a good sign they are growing, although not a comfortable one :).

I had high hopes for getting an ultrasound at this visit, but I couldn't seem to get them to let me have one. The doctor said that this was really not the best time at all because visibility would not be as good as it was earlier, or as it will be in a few weeks. However, he said that I could have one the next time. So.... with that, I quit trying because of course, one of my main reasons was that I wanted to see if we could tell if they were boys, girls, or both, and with low visibility, that was not as likely. I also just wanted to see my babies again, but luckily I will get to do that next month.

Do You Have A Prediction?

Because we still have a few weeks before we can try to find out what we have, we thought it would be fun to see what your predictions are as to what we have. Do you think we'll have 2 boys? 2 girls? Both? If both, which one is which (looking at the previous ultrasound)? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think. As soon as we get the official word (or pretty soon after at least), I will post the babies' sexes along with the ultrasound picture and their names (which we are not telling yet, sorry). I just hope they don't decide to be modest that day!

Okay, Aunt 'Dele gets to go first! I'm predicting one of each!! And you can bet I'll be on hand to welcome them here! I hope to be as close to them as I was to my little sidekick Christy when she was small. Hugs and kisses, Adele

Well, I have thought from the beginning that you would have a boy and a girl. I have no idea which one is which but I am going to guess that the one on the left (when I am looking @ the picture) is the girl and the one on the right is a boy. Regardless, they are both going to be adorable and I cannot wait to hold them!!

I really don't care what they are as long as they are healthy but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get a boy and girl because when they get here I am going to hold them and love them so much and of course spoil them rotten! Gran

Congratulations!!! It is truly amazing to be able to see these babies on the computer screen. I think you have a little girl on the left and a little boy on the right. I will keep your family in my prayers.

My mom saw your cute bump this morning in church. I am so excited for you guys. Dodie and I were talking this morning and it looks like most every one is hoping for a boy/girl combo. I told her if history repeats itself it will probably girls because I couldn't think of one boy twin in the church. I'm sure you will be excited either way!
