9 Months

On March 19, the boys turned 9 months. We went to the doctor last week and here are the stats: Hayden - 19 pounds, 13 ounces, 29 inches long & Carson - 18 pounds even, 28 inches long. Everything seemed to be good. We have been so fortunate to not have much illness this winter. We've had some runny noses and Carson had a little upper respiratory infection, but other than that, we've been healthy. We are very thankful for family who come over to watch the boys when we are at work!!

I know I've said this before, but time sure is flying by! I am doing my best to enjoy every single moment with them - even in the middle of the night :). Speaking of the night, both boys are doing well sleeping. Hayden will wake up every now and then, but is fairly quick in getting back to sleep. I think his teething may have something to do with it. Carson is a good sleeper, and has slept through the night for as long as I can remember now - with the exception of a few nights and that was mainly because he was stopped up and couldn't breathe while laying down.

They are both doing the "army crawl" now. Carson started first, then Hayden followed. Carson can get around really quickly, Hayden is more laid back in that area :). They both stand up well when holding on to something like the couch, so I am sure it won't be too long until they start trying to walk. Hayden already seems to try to cruise a little.

They are eating their baby foods well. They are like their mommy and love to eat. We are trying to transition to things that are a little chunkier, but I think it will be a slow process for me. I am so scared they are going to choke and I won't know what to do. I am sure I am not the first person to worry about that :).
